Baby Girl's Room... More Pics!

I've gotten a few requests to see baby girl's room. I have two things to do still but otherwise it's finished. I have to make and hang the tissue paper pouf mobile above her crib and I have to hang the light up paper lanterns above the changing station/dresser. Those things will add some character and some color and definitely fill up empty space up high and I can't wait for those to be done. Something tells me I won't get around to it until I'm in my post-partum days but she will be sleeping in our room at first anyway...

This first one is a panoramic view but doesn't do a great job of showing off the details.

Here is our little bookshelf, topped with black acrylic lamp and mirror/bow hanger on the wall above.

Diaper pail with skull and bows.

Another skull, a glow night light and a gift yet to be given all sit to the left of the changing pad atop the dresser.

Ceramic skull that is open in back. We're using this to store our diaper pins and Snappis to the right of the changing pad.

Front view of the dresser/changing table.

Adhesive wall poster and laundry basket to the right of the dresser.

A framed ultrasound picture above a small shelf with our video monitor on top. We won't be using this for a while unless she likes to nap in the big crib.

Humidifier. We live in the desert and we use the AC a lot during the Summer so we'll likely use this a lot, too. This humidifier doubles a night light that shows a starry night show on the ceiling. Pretty cool.

My favorite part! The crib! We fell in love with this crib immediately. It starts as a crib and goes into a toddler bed with side rail, then toddler bed without side rail. We'll get a few years of use out of this and we LOVE all the sheets we've purchased for it to coordinate with the colors in the room. Here is the gray chevron with a black blanket, seafoam green swaddle, ADORABLE and super soft cheetah print blanket and of course... a skull pillow. What crib would be complete without it? Of course, ALL of that will come out when baby goes in, but it's cute for now. Also, that is the crib skirt that my grandma hand made for my first daughter over 13 years ago. It is white eyelet and complements the modern/edgy crib so well!

This is the loungy nursing chair we got from Joe's mom. I'm not sure how much time I'll spend nursing in that room but that chair has ALREADY gotten it's fair share of use! Above it is a rubber clock in the same gray as the crib. It will eventually be moved above the changer/dresser to be in better view while sitting in the chair but until I find some sort of art to go above the chair, there it stays.

Here is a better one of the clock.

And this is the little rug to bring all the colors together. We got it at a super steal but we really need to find a way to anchor it to the carpet because it is supposed to live centered in front of the changer/dresser but it slides to the right for some reason whenever people step on it. Talk about annoying. I'll figure that out soon enough. Also, there is a little rocker chair for the baby that vibrates and plays a little song...

So that's all for now... we really like how it turned out. Not too busy, all the gear and stuff fits in the closet (not shown) and dresser drawers with a bit of room to spare. We can't wait to have this baby and get some actual use out of the room and all the gear!
