I have found that I get tired and out of breath doing little-to-nothing these days. That came out of nowhere. The new back pain can likely be attributed to belly growth, I'm sure. The acid reflux continues and I still hate it more than anything because not only do I want to vomit but it always feels like I'm about to. Lovely. Also, I can't get to sleep. I can sleep like crazy when I DO get to sleep but it's hard to get to sleep in the first place. Also, this aversion to anything starchy or carb-loaded is new. Carbs make me feel like shit. Plain and simple. I have noticed on a few occasions that I've gotten lightheaded and felt the world spin, once when I was driving with my mom and daughter. We were at a stop light but it was pretty scary. I had hypoglycemia during my pregnancy with my first daughter that began at my sixth month of pregnancy so I'm very careful about that. I try to balance my carbs and proteins and my entire diet in general but it doesn't always help. I have my next appointment with my midwife on March 1st and will definitely be discussing all of this with her. I don't feel it's safe to drive 2 hours each way to work while I have such back pain and now this lightheadedness. I don't want to take my chances.
Here is a pic, taken today. Pay no mind to the awesome yoga pants and day-old hair, k? This is the baby's room but has very few baby things in it at this time. Joe has yet to move his workout equipment out since we moved in 2 months ago. He will be doing that soon as the crib and dresser will arrive in March.
