Nursing T-Shirt

I FINALLY found a nursing shirt in the one and only style I like. My mind may change when I'm actually nursing and I may find that there are other styles that will work for me but so far, this is the only style I like outside of pulling down the top of my tank top. One of the reasons I seem to dislike all other types is because they're ugly. Just downright NOT CUTE. I am not your typical "mommy" clothes wearing type. I won't just put on whatever is functional and call it a win. No. I need to feel comfortable in my clothes and even more comfortable in my skin. I have my own style and I need nursing clothes to understand that.

I mentioned in my last post that I really love the Boob Design nursing tanks/tops because of their pull-up style panel. Some may say this is similar to if a shirt had an empire waistline. This is partially true but what is different is that empire waistlines are always defined in some "fancy" way, like a braided edge or some ruffly crap. Not only do I think this isn't my style, but it hits my bodacious 38HH boob region at about nipple-height, if not higher. NOT COOL. And who designs nursing tops with SMALL boobs in mind? Be realistic! MOST new nursing moms have these new-to-them huge mounds and have no clue how to dress them and there you are with this super un-accommodating tiny-boobed empire waist shit? No thanks.

As you can tell, this is a sore subject for me. To some women a 34C is their new HUGE size but to me, 38HH is my usual size. I haven't grown in the boobal region yet, but I'm certain I will, if not just a bit. You see, I have just gained 10 pounds my entire pregnancy and I am currently 38 weeks, 1 day pregnant. I intend to NOT gain much boob if at all possible. So on my hunt for the perfect shirt, here were my requirements...

-Same or VERY similar style/design as the Boob Design nursing tops

-Lower price. Prefer drastically lower, but will settle for lower than $50. Boob shirts cost $59 USD and can only be purchased from the UK as far as I've been able to find. This means shipping will add quite a bit and it may take too long to get here, too. I'm due in 13 days, folks!

-US purchasing as mentioned above

That was basically all I cared about. I FOUND IT! LOOK!

Here is a comparison shot for reference, of the Boob Design style...and I have to mention, I actually PREFER the babybemine.com style because of the side ruching, then top to tunic length styling and the apparent fit. Also, the material looks nicer on the one I purchased, making the panel lie nicer on the shirt and the sleeves look more fitted.

So what do you think? I think I actually found a better version of the original love I had. The babybemine.com shirt cost me $44.94 with shipping and like all other things I order within my country, will likely be here in 7-10 days, depending on where it's coming from. (Although I've never waited longer than 5-7 days for anything, really).

I am saving SO MUCH MONEY. After doing a mock order, I found that the Boob Design shirt would end up costing $79 with shipping. I have a hard time spending $45, let alone nearly DOUBLE that. I just don't buy myself expensive shirts because I feel there is no need for that. I'd rather have 10 cute, cheaper tops.

I think with all things considered, I have a huge win on my hands. I hope to review my shirt selection once I've had the time to experience it in real life.
