What Have I Been Up To?

Well, the tiny one is going to be 8 months old on March 1st and we've been very busy! We're settled in from our move and have been trying to get out and be social and active. Our family hangs out with my brother and his family on the weekends and my brothers, Joe and Maya have been riding 4-wheelers every Sunday. My brother's girlfriend and I have been wanting to get out there and go riding too, so I ordered riding gear last night and hopefully I can go in a couple weeks. We haven't quite worked out how we're going to go with the babies (my brother's 15 month old and our 8 month old) but we'll figure it out. We have 3 quads and a pit bike and my brother has 1 quad so we've discussed taking turns watching the babies and riding. We can use a stroller for cover and we have a large SUV they can hang out in the back of with supervision if it's too hot. The girls will likely go first, while the babies are happy and fed and then leave earlier while the guys go for a longer ride. We do our best to adapt our lifestyle to our children so everyone gets to have fun. I found this gear combo set online and ordered it last night. Pink is SO not my color but I'll live. Most women's gear has pink and if it doesn't, it looks like men's gear, so I went for it. Here it is:
